   1 This directory contains various header and code files that are
   2 used make Tcl compatible with various releases of UNIX and UNIX-like
   3 systems.  Typically, files from this directory are used to compile
   4 Tcl when the corresponding files aren't present in the system's
   5 library area.  When the whole world is POSIX-ified, this information
   6 should become unnecessary. (?)
